Message from the IOA president

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the Council of Management and the Officers of the International Orthoptic Association, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to attend the XII International Orthoptic Congress in Toronto, Canada, 26-29 June 2012.

Each International Congress has its own character and theme offering delegates a unique forum at which to share their knowledge and experience with colleagues from around the world. The friendly atmosphere and quality of the scientific programme encourage interaction and lively discussion; new friendships are made and old ones renewed.

The Congress will be hosted by the Canadian Orthoptic Society who, together with the local organizing committee chaired by Karen McMain, has preparation well in hand. The XII International Orthoptic Congress will be one to remember.
